PATNI SET UPS THE LARGEST IN SOFTWARE PARK IN AIROLI WITH 17000-SEAT

Patni knowledge park (PKP), as the new campus has been named, has been ready since 2005-end. Patni had already acquired 50 acres of land in the MIDC technology park in Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
Phase I of the project, which had entailed an investment of Rs 230 crore, has been completed in early 2005. It has accommodated more than 5,000 professionals. The software park will then be ramped up to its full capacity when new projects are bagged, said Patni officials.
Phase - II is Under Contruction as on September 2007
Narendra Patni, chairman and CEO, said, "We are committed to enhancing our position as a leading Indian provider of integrated IT services and to strengthen our delivery capabilities. This knowledge park is a major step towards this effort."
"The Knowledge Park will meet the needs of Patni's rapidly growing business requirements by providing end-to-end IT off-shoring services for clients in insurance, financial services, manufacturing and other verticals. This will enable Patni to quickly ramp up operations to meet dynamic client requirements and also venture into new high-growth verticals," he added.
